“I enjoy bringing value to a project.”
Dave Diamond relishes the challenge of taking something unremarkable and turning it into something great. Not just in developing real estate, but in helping people develop, too. He’s been active in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) for more than two decades and his annual charity Chili Cook-off gets bigger every year.
He leads Walter Wayne in developing projects that bring value beyond simple profit, making deals so that the larger community benefits. For example, a new health care facility is more than just a building; it provides a service to the community. He says finding the right kinds of deals is hard work, but it’s more satisfying for him when everybody wins.
Dave lives with his family in Rockford, IL. On Sundays you can find him enjoying a round of golf with his son.
“Management is efficiency in climbing the ladder of success; leadership
determines whether the ladder is leaning against the right wall.”
Prior to coming to Walter Wayne Development in 2016, Drew worked in the areas of Finance, Education, & Ministry. For nearly a decade he served as an Assistant Vice President at a community bank, working in both Retail Management and Information Systems. Previously, he has served out of state as a pastor to several churches and as a college educator and coach, teaching in Philosophy, Business, and Ethics. His coaching experience includes a trip the the national tournament while coaching basketball and regional tournament appearances coaching golf.
“My natural inclination is to see an organization’s great potential, and to be less concerned with where it’s been and more concerned with it’s potential. My experience and skills have given me the ability to start infant organizations, by building a cohesive team that shares the vision, and lead those organizations to grow and succeed. In addition, I have been successful taking organizations that need leadership, assess its needs, and then guide it along the path that make it successful. The consistent success I have enjoyed is not only gratifying but also a reflection of the fulfillment I find in my work.”
Drew lives with his family in Roscoe, IL. In his free time he is involved in the Stateline Area Chamber of Commerce, enjoys golf, camping, backpacking, and mountain climbing.
Randy has been involved in the real estate profession since 1985 and has focused his talents on sales and development in the Madison, WI Area. In the past twenty years of his career, he has worked on large scale housing developments completing entitlement work and seeing projects through to completion. This valued experience and understanding of the Madison development landscape is one reason Walter Wayne is poised to offer new developments in the Madison area.
